The 2021 Campbell’s Shepparton Running Festival is going ahead on 21 & 22 August, 2021.

We are three and a half weeks away and we know there are plenty of runners out there keen to participate in an event. For your benefit and that of our tourism community we are working hard to make sure our event can go ahead under the current Victoria State Government COVID restrictions.

To our entrants outside Victoria who are not able to join us due to border closures, we are sorry that we will not see you this year.  We will be sending you an email in the next few days offering you a choice of a refund (less a $20 administration fee) or a rollover to 2022.

Entries are OPEN for the RiverConnect 2km Kids dash and the Tailwind 7km Trail run on Saturday 21 August. A carer, parent or guardian is permitted to accompany runners in these events.

Entries are PAUSED for the Alpine Edge Marathon and Marathon Teams, Apex Earthworks Half-Marathon, and the Shepp News 10km run/walk, scheduled for Sunday 22 August.

This is because there are restrictions on outdoor gatherings, but once we have clarification on maximum numbers for sporting events, we hope to reopen our long-distance races.

At this stage we will be asking runners to arrive, run & leave unless restrictions ease further.

To all those runners who were waiting on the restrictions to be lifted before entering, please be patient and keep training whilst we work through event scenarios to accommodate as many runners as we possibly can.

We would like to thank our valuable sponsors because without their support we would not be in such a strong position to continue.

The health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and crew is paramount and will be at the forefront of our event management as we move closer to the event weekend.

If you have any queries, you can send a DM via social media or an email to info@sheppartonrunningfestival.com.au. We will do our best to answer your query promptly.

Keep training and we will continue to update you as soon as we have more news to share.
