McDonald’s 2KM KIDS DASH RUN/WALK – Sat 22 August

Your kids will feel like real Superhero’s!

The McDonald’s 2KM Kids Dash is a favourite event of the Shepparton Running Festival. To enable as many parents and carers to support the kids we have rescheduled this event to Saturday at 3pm. Kids will run or walk one full lap around Victoria Park Lake. To keep it fun we encourage all participants to dress up as their favourite ‘Superhero’. This also means great photos.

The course is well marshalled and parents / carers are more than welcome to to join in for free. The event is suitable for but not limited to primary school aged children.

Thanks to our sponsors McDonald’s Shepparton. This event also partners with #voice4kidz who are raising funds and awareness to fight child sexual assault.

Finish Line	Event Venue, Victoria Park Lake
Age Limit	Under 12 years. Suitable but not limited to Primary School age children. Parents / carers can accompany their children, but are asked to start near the back of the field

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Start from the event venue at Victoria Park Lake
Head south along the Wyndham Street side of the lake
Follow the lake edge, cross the bridge at the south end of the lake and follow the path onto Tom Collins Drive
Head North along Tom Collins Drive
As you approach Aquamoves a marshal will direct you to turn right where you re-join the Victoria Park Lake path near the playground
As you run between Aquamoves and the lake the finish line will be in your sight
Celebrate your finish in true Superhero style!

Toilets are available on course and in the event venue, close to the start/finish line.

AGE CATEGORIES

No age categories apply:

Every child under 12 years, must have a parent or carer in the event venue at the time of the event
Parents or carers are encouraged to join in but must start at the back of the field
